Wildman Harrold’s Public Finance Practice regularly represents state agencies and authorities, counties, cities, villages, towns, school districts, and other special purpose districts throughout the nation. We serve as bond counsel, underwriter’s counsel, issuer’s counsel, and conduit borrower’s counsel on numerous public finance transactions in several states. Our experience includes a broad range of projects financed with tax-exempt and taxable municipal debt for municipal and private borrowers, including infrastructure, utility, education, housing, and healthcare. Our attorneys have served as bond counsel and underwriter’s counsel on a wide array of financings, including governmental revenue, alternate and general obligation bonds, industrial revenue bonds, qualified 501(c)(3) bonds, tax increment financing bonds, and special assessment bonds.

Our experience includes work relating to not only bond issues, but also intergovernmental cooperation, the use of home rule authority, creation and administration of tax increment finance districts and enterprise zones, real estate tax abatements, and sales tax rebates.
