Partner Julie Nichols Matthews Appointed to INTA's Internet Committee

Wildman Harrold IP partner Julie Nichols Matthews has been appointed to serve on the International Trademark Association’s Internet Committee for 2010-2011. The Internet Committee evaluates treaties, laws, regulations and procedures relating to domain name assignment, use of trademarks on the Internet, and unfair competition on the Internet and develops and advocates policies to advance the balanced protection of trademarks on the Internet. Ms. Matthews also serves on the Online Trademark Use Subcommittee, which analyzes issues of trademark use in online advertising, on auction sites, in social media and virtual worlds, domain parking issues, and Internet fraud.
