CHICAGOJames D. (Jimmy) Nguyen, a highly respected intellectual property litigator and transactional attorney, with extensive entertainment and media experience, has joined Wildman Harrold’s Los Angeles office, Kenneth Suddleson, head of Wildman Harrold’s LA office, announced today.

“Jimmy is an accomplished lawyer, known throughout the IP, entertainment and media sectors for his thoughtful and innovative approach to emergent legal issues,” said Suddleson. “He is an outstanding addition to both our burgeoning L.A. office and our national entertainment and media practice.”

Nguyen comes to the firm from Foley & Lardner’s Century City office where he served as vice-chair of the Intellectual Property Litigation Practice. "I join a dynamic team of lawyers in L.A. and Chicago, clearly at the forefront of the digital entertainment revolution – an ideal fit to complement and continue to expand my practice."

Nguyen's practice includes counseling, transactional, enforcement and litigation work in areas such as entertainment, new media, intellectual property, technology, advertising and sports. He represents and advises a broad range of clients including media conglomerates, motion picture companies, new media and gaming businesses, magazine, TV and radio stations, production companies, and Internet service providers. Nguyen also has significant commercial litigation experience.

Law & Politics and Los Angeles Magazine have named Nguyen a “Southern California Super Lawyer” every year since 2005.
