Velisha Haddox is an associate in the Litigation Department of Wildman Harrold. She represents major manufacturers and other large corporations in a variety of complex commercial and tort actions, including warranty litigation, contract disputes, product liability suits, consumer fraud, putative class actions for alleged environmental contamination and medical monitoring, and multi district pharmaceutical litigation involving two leading diet drugs.Representative Experience:
- Assisted Wyeth’s national defense team researching medical and scientific issues for use with fact discovery involving lay and medical witnesses in the nationwide diet drug litigation
- Served as lead associate on DuPont team defending environmental contamination and medical monitoring class action lawsuit, where she was responsible for fact development and investigation, written discovery, drafting dispositive motions, drafting class brief, and preparing for class hearing
- Represents leading telecommunications equipment company in complex commercial litigation, including complex contract disputes, warranty claims, consumer fraud, and putative class actions; her responsibilities have included legal analysis, fact investigation, and discovery
